Auburn Drumline Bio The drumline’s concept was taken from Eric's music background in Northern California and the Los Angeles music industry, combining elements of “DCI” style corp drumming and mixing it with world, pop, and jazz rhythms from around the globe. Taking “a little of this”, and “a little of that”, proved a unique combination of melody, harmony, rhythm, and “sound”. The drumline powers a full set of music and rhythm from all different styles culminating in an audience participating parade of Brazilian Samba. ADL continues its 10 year plus legacy with a 2nd album, new material, and performances throughout Northern California. The drumline welcomes new players, and sustains a needed cultural contribution in the music and percussive arts for Northern California. The
sounds of drumming across the world reverberate in Auburn’s own
drumming and musical sensation, The Auburn Drumline, simply known as
“ADL”. Congas, Ashikos, Djembe, roto toms, quads, bass drums,
cymbals, snares, keyboards, vocals, timbale, surdo drums, and percussion
instruments from around the world collide into an irrestible concoction
of sizziling rhythms, melodies, and harmonies that inspire all ages
to dance, participate, and follow “ ADL”, wherever they go. ADL is the brainchild
of Eric Chun, founder of Creative Music Services.
