Songer Songwriter Workshop & Acoustic

West Sacramento Community Center and Creative Music Services host Season 2 of the Singer Songwriter Workshop and Concert.
The event will again be held at the W Sacramento Community Center at 1075 W. Capitol Ave in West Sacramento. Stellar hands on workshops in rhythm, harmony, melody, lyrics , and selected performance evaluation will be featured, along with Full Red Carpet pictures, interviews, and video for all attendees. The workshops will be held downstairs , along with the red carpet, and meal service. The concert , again will be held upstairs in the beautiful Black Box Theatre with intimate seating and a U shaped seating arrangement.
The event will host the workshops from 1:00-5:15 PM, followed by red carpet media and dinner from 5:15 to 6:30 . The concert in the Black Box will start at 6:30 PM.
Tickets for general workshop include workshops, concerts, and red carpet publicity are 20.00 or 10,.00 each for workshop or concert only. Student pricing for all students is only10.00 for both or 5.00 for each. Dinner will be available onsite with the newly opened Wicked Witch sandwich and drink station downstairs. Tickets may be purchased at the door or by pay pal on Creative Music Services website at Advanced tickets purchased will be at will call when registering. Children under 12 are free.

This years lineup for song writing staff will include a top notch team of song writing artists and teaching staff, including Eric Chun, Sana Christian, Mr. Blap, John Morris, Curtis Hildebrand, Joe Leavy, Daniel Emmett Hayes, Lauren Ona, and Grace Bergen. CMS is excited to launch the years industry and education events for the Sac Valley region!! After an amazing season III of Sac Valley State of the Music Industry day last November, were preparing for a years slate of great seminars and workshops, starting with the California Lawyers for the Arts Music Business Seminar Day Jan. 31, Saturday in Berkley, Ca. , The Teen Music Artist Music Industry Summit, followed by Season II of Singer Songwriter Workshops, Women In Music Industry Panel, and Omnicamp Summer Music and Industry Camp!!!

Namm Show 2015

The Namm Show , ( National Association of Music Merchandisers) is the worlds largest music instrument, education, and networking show for Namm members and their guests. Last years attendance of close to 97,000 looks to be exceed that this year at the Anaheim Convention Center. With over 1200 manufactures and retailers from around the world, the show brings the brightest, newest, products together with buyers, guests, education workshops, music performance, and networking opportunities for the music community to move forward in 2015. Creative Music Services brings an amazing team this year, with new artist Lauren Ona, national recording and touring act One Eyed Doll, media guru Myki Angeline, Sacramento favorite Todd Morgan, Management with Barbara Morgan, Promotions/ writer/ vocalist/event exec Kathie Rollins, and photo/drumming coach Katie Pryor.
